I spent 3 months on a US Navy base in Rota Spain last summer. I got to take several trips around the country seeing Gibraltar,
Grananda, Cadiz, Jerez de le Frontera, Tarifa, Morrocco and more. As it was my first time overseas, I remember it as
one of the best experiences of my life. While I tried to spend as much time off base as possible, I spent a lot of time on
the Navy base working with the fitness director in developing and running fitness programs designed to help enhance quality
of life for our miltary men and women. I got to train with "The Black Widow", Jennette Lee, and I got to develop and run lots
of other cool programs and events. I really miss all of the great friends I made there.
...Just as I was in Spain, I am now in Yokosuka Japan on another Navy base. This site contains links to the left that
will guide you through an edited tour of my experiences in both Spain and Japan. I will try and keep this site as up to date
as possible for all of you at home who are wondering how things are going. To the right is a picture of myself in front of
Gibraltar, a British colonie that I had the opportunity to visit my first weekend in Spain! Pretty nice huh? Though, it's
not nearly as nice a it was to actually be there...Below that is a picture of me and a good friend I have made here in Japan.
She invited me to a fireworks festival ("omatsuri no hana-bi" in Japanese) in Yokohama. She wore Yukata (women's summer kimono)
and I got to wear Jembei (men's summer kimono). It was one of the best times I've had so far!!!

What's New?
I'm planning trips to Hiroshima, camping on Mt. Fuji, canyoning and cliff diving, as well as a trip to Guam in September...
